The Ambrai on Yarra is situated at Shop 16, Ground Floor, World Trade Centre, 18–38 Siddeley Street, Docklands, Melbourne VIC 3008, positioned directly along the tranquil waterfront promenade of the Yarra River.
Our doors open Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM for dinner service, and Saturday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM for continuous lunch and evening dining. Note that operating hours may vary for public holidays and exclusive private functions, so advance confirmation is always encouraged.
For guests arriving by car, multiple parking options are available in the World Trade Centre complex and surrounding Docklands Wilson and Secure Parking stations. We recommend checking real-time parking space availability prior to departure.
Atmosphere & Dress Code Guidelines
The ambiance at The Ambrai bridges ancient Mewari royal grandeur with Melbourne's contemporary waterside culture. Our dining room and riverside promenade are best suited to smart-casual or smart attire.
While there is no rigid or overly formal dress code requirement, many of our patrons embrace the opportunity to dress up for romantic date nights, birthday celebrations, or special milestone evenings.

We take great pride in catering to varied dietary lifestyles. Our menu features an expansive Vegetarian Curries selection, including velvety Malai Kofta, Kadhai Paneer, slow-simmered Dal Makhani, and traditional Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, along with abundant vegetarian entrées.
While we do not maintain separate standalone printed vegan, Jain, or halal menus, a large portion of our vegetarian dishes can be tailored to meet these dietary requirements upon request. Kindly advise us of your preferences when booking so our kitchen team can prepare accordingly.
Guests with specific food allergies are kindly requested to notify our waitstaff prior to ordering. For severe or anaphylactic allergies, informing us at the time of reservation allows our culinary team to uphold rigorous cross-contamination precautions.

Diners at The Ambrai can choose between two contrasting royal atmospheres. Out on the riverfront, our signature Yarra Promenade Domes offer climate-controlled, transparent private dining pods right on the water's edge, presenting 360-degree views of Melbourne's illuminated skyline.
Indoors, guests can retreat to the opulent Chandelier Lounge—a majestic dining room and cocktail bar defined by sparkling crystal chandeliers, rich textures, and royal heritage booth seating.
Reservations, Private Domes & Functions for 30–150 Guests
Given high demand, especially during weekend evenings and sunset golden hours, advance booking is strongly recommended. Reservations can be made instantly via our online booking engine.
